Ever since PARADE selected its first All America High School Football Team in 1963, the magazine has been discovering some of the greatest gridiron legends in Archbishop Stepinac High School (White Plains, NY) 1 of 2. He later starred at the University of Minnesota before a lengthty NFL career as a defensive back. He was a member of the 2010 All-CNY football team as a kicker. He was alsonamed the National Player of the Year by Superprep magazine, as he totaled 102 tackles, nine sacks, and four forced fumbles. The teams were chosen in December until 1980 when they began choosing the team after the first of the year.
