Depuis 2015, un document recensant le nom de 100 000 personnes qui ont collaboré avec l’occupant nazi est déclassifié. L’immense majorité de ces collaborators ont été jugés. L’historien Dominique Lormier en a publié un livre, 100 000 collabos.
For the past two years a documented list has been compiled numbering 100,000 people who collaborated with the Nazis. This was declassified in 2015. Most of them are already charged and sentenced. Including 791 who were executed. Historian Dominique Lormier has published a book with the names of 100,00 collaborators

Dans le fameux fichier des collabos, on trouve 100 000 noms. Cette liste secrète dressée à la Libération dormait dans le silence des archives depuis soixante-dix ans. Aujourd’hui, ce fichier déclassifié révèle l’ampleur de la collaboration avec l’occupant allemand pendant la guerre. Tout commence par la poignée de main du 30 octobre 1940 entre Pétain et Hitler. Dans le fichier, il y a le nom de ces miliciens qui ont soutenu le Reich.
In this famous list of collaborators is founf 100,000 names. This list was classified information and lay dormant and unseen in the archives for the last 70 years. Today the declassified list reveals the extent of collaboration with the occupied German forces during the war. This started with a handshake between Pétain and Hitler. Within the figures are the names of those milices who supported the Reich.

Il y a aussi beaucoup d’industriels dont la production partait en Allemagne. Le monde du cinéma est aussi présent. Parmi ces collabos, beaucoup d’anonymes et quelques noms bien connus : Maurice Papon ou René Bousquet. Le père du magistrat Philippe Bilger figure aussi dans ce fichier. Il était préfet. L’ouverture de cette boîte de Pandore met mal à l’aise le magistrat honoraire. Ces collaborateurs, considérés comme des traîtres, ont connu l’épuration à la Libération. Plus de 95 000 d’entre eux ont été jugés et condamnés à des peines de prison plus ou moins lourdes. 791 ont été exécutés.
There are also many industries included who assisted in production in the German war effort. The world of cinema is also present.
